Beyoncé is set to host the dual premieres of her concert movie, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé,” in Los Angeles on November 25 and in London on November 30, just days before it opens in theaters worldwide on December 1 in collaboration with AMC Entertainment and Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.
The documentary chronicles Beyoncé’s highest-grossing tour to date, showcasing her journey from the tour’s inception in Stockholm, Sweden, to its finale in Kansas City, Missouri. The film accentuates Beyoncé’s commitment, hard work, creative involvement in every aspect of the production, and her dedication to creating her legacy and mastering her craft. Her Renaissance World Tour was met with extraordinary acclaim and created a sanctuary for freedom and shared joy for more than 2.7 million fans.
Tickets for the film will go on sale on November 9 in international territories, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, while tickets are already available in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
While the specific locations for the U.S. and European premieres have not been announced, the invitation for the London premiere suggests a “formal opulence” dress code, while the L.A. premiere calls for “Cozy opulence,” referencing a track from the “Renaissance” album. The film’s two-minute trailer features intimate moments with Beyoncé, including time spent with her family and pre-show preparations.
This latest concert film adds to Beyoncé‘s impressive filmography, including “Homecoming,” which documented her historic 2018 Coachella performance, as well as “Life Is But a Dream” and “I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas.”
